URGENT APPEAL
HELP DĀR-US-SUNNAH TO START NEW MASJID BEFORE RAMDHAN 2020
Dear Brothers/Sisters
Our beloved Prophet Sallahu Alihi wasalalm says:
“Whoever Build a Masjid for sake of Allah, Allah will build a house for him in Jannah (Muslim).”
“ مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ ” .
On August 2012, we established Jāmia ͗ Dār-us-Sunnah with the purpose of serving and guiding Muslims in the light of the Qurān and Sunnah. Al-Ḣamdulillāh, for the past SEVEN years we’ve been actively providing Islāmic education and social services to our local community.
Al-Hamdulillah By the grace of Allah (S.W.T), we have been working on purchasing a property for a new Masjid and have now purchased a building for MASJID DARUS SUNNAH; this is a huge milestone for us. That property is unstructured properly for the Masjid and needs a lot of renovations to be done BEFORE RAMADHAN.
WE NEED URGENT HELP IN MAKING THIS Masjid ready before the RAMADHAN of 2020.
We are humbly requesting every individual to give anything they can towards the construction and renovations of the New Masjid.

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Sadaqah does not decrease property and Allah increases the honor of him who forgives and no one will humble himself for Allah’s sake except that Allah raises his status.” Related by Muslim.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ, وَمَا زَادَ اَللَّهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا, وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ }
أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ .
1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم (2588)“.
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Allah said, ‘O son of Adam! Spend, and I shall spend on you.”
عنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
“ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَنْفِقْ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ ”.

Since the beginning, we’ve been renting a small place to serve as our masjid and madrassah. Due to limited space and resources, coupled with the expanding religious needs of our fellow Muslims, we feel the time has come to acquire a permanent property in order to extend and improve the work currently being performed by the Jāmia ͗.
By the grace of Allah Ta ͑āla, we found a suitable building just across of our current location and purchased it on March 27, 2019. In order to close on time, we had to take out a loan amounting to $455,000 from many large-hearted brothers and sisters. Presently, we’re obligated to pay back this amount by the end of Ramadhān.
More over we need $150,000 for the construction of masjid to be ready for Salah before Ramadhan.
Please help us to settle our debts on time. This may easily be accomplished (Inshā-Allāh Ta ͑āla) if 150 supporters each sponsor one SHARE for $1,000 (they can either make a one-time payment or pay in installments.)
It’s our humble request to every Muslim that they help us in this endeavor to build an institution which will function as both a place of worship and a center of learning for our present and upcoming generations.
The efforts of the Jāmia ͗ to attract Muslim youth by hosting relevant Islāmic programming, an after-school Maktab, and a full-time Ḣifz/ ͑Ālimīyat course, are crucial for maintaining our religious identity and values amid the temptations of western culture. Please donate generously as your support is essential for us to keep serving the Muslim community.
