Thousands of people across Myanmar (also known as Burma), are displaced, unable to return to their homes. The United Nations estimates that more than 168,000 people have been displaced since inter-community conflict erupted in 2012.

About 470,000 people have sought shelter in COX’S BAZAR/TAKNAF, BANGLADESH since violence erupted in Myanmar in late August 2017, according to the United Nations.

Jamiah Darus-Sunnah Foundation is now working directly with aid workers and partners on-site in the border areas of Bangladesh  to deliver aid directly to the hands of the Rohingya refugees. Every dollar you donated will go directly to our volunteers in Chittagong,Bangladesh after credit card and transfer fees, and then be spent directly on the Rohingya Refugees with any aid being directly handed to them.

Our aid workers and partners are working on ground in Cox’s Bazar, Teknaaf Bandar Band, in Bangladesh border areas, just outside the areas of conflict, and are helping the affected families by providing them with food, water and immediate relief. We are in constant communication with the on ground team in Bangladesh. Below are some of the images of relief work going on thanks to our generous donors who came forward to support us to support the Rohingya Mulims.
